Our Spanish guest, Ramiro Zambrana, left Ireland recently to return to Spain. He was a very welcome and very regular visitor at the club and showed his ability by winning the Gorey Club Championship 2012-2013. He had several impressive results on the Irish chess scene as well. He’ll be missed in the club and we’ll be keeping an eye on his results in tournaments back home.
